While we’re used to seeing celebrities flaunting their tattoos on the red carpet, recently even foot and leg tattoos seem to be trending among celebrities, though not many go as far (or low) with foot tattoos as Miley Cyrus:

The 20-year-old tattooed “Rolling $tone” on her feet to commemorate her first-ever Rolling Stone cover. Inspired by celebrities getting foot tattoos and showing them off, their fans end up getting them as well.
Since feet have less padding provided by muscle, thereby bringing the bones and tendons closer to the surface, getting a foot tattoo is generally more painful than a regular tattoo.

Appearing on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno at NBC Studios on February 27, 2012, Megan revealed she has “eight or nine” tattoos, though she hasn’t counted them.
“Getting them is not that bad. Your skin sort of explodes and looks like little kernels of popcorn popping up. They can’t numb it enough to make the pain go away. When I was 19, everyone told me that soon I am not going to love my tats, But I was stubborn and I thought that I would love it forever, or that it would be like a book of my life, all the things that I loved when I was younger,” Fox said about getting tattoos when she was young. “And it’s not that at all.”

She was troubled, and there’s negativity with her life and with her death. And I just feel like there are better things to have inked on your body than someone who struggled so much. So in getting older, I just decided that it was something that I wanted to get rid of.”
